What rules did you set in place for your life?
They’re people who believe that whenever they imagine something, the positive, “big” things take a slower time to manifest, and they rarely manifest anything positive. That inspired me to change this assumption into something that would completely remove the fear of negative thoughts.
Negative thoughts do not dictate your life.
Assume negative thoughts have no power over your life. There is no need to live in fear, because you weren’t thinking positive all day. You are GOD. You dictate your life. You dictate your thoughts. So, why not create a safety net? Let it be easy!
If I assumed I only manifested positive things, even if I think negatively, then I am always in the state I want to be in. To me, it’s like creating your own rules for your world. I feel like if I am having negative thoughts, I shouldn’t have to feel anxiety because they will manifest. This is what other teachers may have taught in the past, and they unknowingly passed down their assumptions on to others learning the law of assumption. The thoughts only manifest if you assume they will. You do not have to fear your negative thoughts, and you are not at the mercy of them. Instead, assume that you never manifest anything negative in your life.
“The world is a mirror, forever reflecting what you are doing, within yourself.”
-Neville Goddard
When I started to apply this, I started to see that even if I did think negatively, that positive things still happened to me. Eventually, that became all that manifested for me. No matter what I thought during the day. The negative thoughts did not manifest “faster.” Actually, they didn’t even manifest at all. I kept doing this to the point where it’s almost un-natural to have negative thoughts, because I kept the assumption that they never manifest anyway.
You are GOD breathing life into things. You are what makes things work. It’s not the other way around.
Three years ago, my friend would be so afraid of her negative thoughts. She would use the 55×5 method, five times a day, to overwrite the negative. At the time, she really didn’t see that we are the ones that give techniques the power, not the other way around. So, this technique worked, but it is because she gave herself a permission slip to believe that the negative thoughts wouldn’t manifest anymore.
People already live this way. It’s natural, normal, and easy to assume.
I believe this is why bad things never happen to certain people. There are also examples I’ve seen in the group, that even if they thought negative thoughts pertaining to their specific person, it never turned out to be true. So, sometimes they assume that they always “over think” everything, but the bad thoughts never seem to manifest in their specific person. If you have this sort of assumption, realize that you created this rule for yourself. This assumption is a great one to have, because it protects you from the negative thoughts ever manifesting. You don’t have to be afraid that you are over thinking things. You can have bad days and still only get positive things showing up in your reality. Some of us are already doing this without realizing it.
You have been assuming things all your life. This is nothing new to you. Notice what you have been saying.
You really are creating your own rules. Notice what you’re dictating over your life, especially when it comes to the things that you want. Do you say instant manifestation is not that easy? Or, that you manifest easily and effortlessly? Do you say that it usually takes time, and that’s ok? “It’s not as easy as it looks. In the past it didn’t work for me so why would it work now?”. Realize that you are GOD, and you just created that rule for yourself. It will manifest, unless you assume that it doesn’t. It all boils down to what you assume works for you, and what doesn’t. So, which rules do you want to create in your life next?

January 5, 2020 at 4:12 PMI love this article!!! It’s very empowering! I have been fearful and experiencing guilt because I still have negative thoughts and I was expecting them to manifest. And sadly, sometimes they did! I feel free now. I can relax a bit and put my attention on the positive thoughts I have even if they are not the majority. Thanks a lot for this message.

March 21, 2021 at 4:09 AMI have a question. It is said that the subconscious does not understand good or bad as it is not logical. So how can it tell the difference between a positive thought and a negative one? I assume that the sub- of a 5 year-old may not spot the difference as there may be no feedback, yet the sub- of an adult is a library full of memories so it can understand the positive? Can we also assume eliminating fear and anxiety that are emotions emerging from negative thinking?
